We have some excellent news to share with you!

Philanthropedia, an online resource for donors and a division of Guidestar, a nonprofit evaluator, recently came out with the results of its 2012 survey of the top, high-impact nonprofits working in the field of international microfinance.

Pro Mujer was ranked 4th in a field of 119 organizations reviewed, a jump from 9th place in Philanthropedia’s last ranking in 2009.

An independent panel of 72 international experts was asked to select up to four high-impact nonprofits and two promising start-up nonprofits doing excellent work in the international microfinance sector. They narrowed their list to 11 outstanding organizations, with Pro Mujer placing fourth. The results, which can be viewed here, include an overview of each top-rated organization, including expert reviews on strengths and areas for improvement.

We owe this achievement in large part to YOU. Without your support, we could not do our work nor be so effective. THANK YOU for being such a stalwart partner.
