Kathleen Corbet and Dr. Ana Langer, MD Join Pro Mujer’s Board of Directors

Pro Mujer is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors, Kathleen Corbet and Dr. Ana Langer, MD. The 23-member Board brings together a number of experts from the worlds of Finance, Media, Education, and Non-Profit, among others. Like their fellow Board members, both bring a wide breadth of knowledge to their new roles with Pro Mujer.
Kathleen Corbet, who was recognized as “Humanitarian of the Year” at our 2011 “Giving Women Credit” Benefit, brings more than 25 years of global leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the financial services industry. Currently, she is the Founder and Principal of Cross Ridge Capital, LLC, a firm specializing in venture capital and strategic consulting in financial information, technology and renewable energy. In addition, she is one of the founding members of Pro Mujer’s Senior Advisors, and a founding member of Boston College’s Council for Women.
Dr. Langer is the Director of the Women and Health Initiative at the Harvard School of Public Health and is a Professor in its Department of Global Health and Population. She is a physician specialized in pediatrics and neonatology, as well as a reproductive health expert, public health researcher, and advocate for women’s reproductive health and rights.
